Gr.3 Blue Diamond Prelude (C&G) (1100m) winner Property (StarCraft x Opalize), who is nominated for Saturday’s Gr.2 Caulfield Sprint (1000m) pleased trainer Robert Smerdon with a strong gallop on Tuesday.

The three-year-old gelding, who has not raced since winning the Gr.3 Kindergarten Stakes (1100m) at Randwick on 1 April, worked home in 35.5 seconds for his last 600 metres in a Caulfield gallop.

Property, who was sold from Amarina’s 2016 Inglis Classic draft, won an 800 metres barrier trial at Cranbourne on 8 October to prepare for Saturday’s races against older horses. -ANZ Bloodstock News
