{"id":16931,"date":"2017-05-25T22:47:21","date_gmt":"2017-05-25T22:47:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/amarinafarm.com.au\/site\/?p=16931"},"modified":"2017-05-25T22:47:21","modified_gmt":"2017-05-25T22:47:21","slug":"strong-start-to-magic-millions-sale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/amarinafarm.com.au\/site\/2017\/05\/25\/strong-start-to-magic-millions-sale\/","title":{"rendered":"Strong start to Magic Millions sale"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At the conclusion of Day One of the Magic Millions Weanling Sale Amarina Farm was ranked as fourth leading vendor by aggregate and fifth by average after seven went through the ring for a total of $614,500 and an average $102,417.<\/p>\n<p>The top priced lot for the farm was the <strong>I Am Invincible\u00a0filly out of\u00a0 Dash on Ruby<\/strong> who was sold for $390,000 and was ranked as the fourth top lot of the day.<\/p>\n<p>David Lucas Bloodstock\u00a0purchased the filly,\u00a0who is by the same sire as Myer Classic (registered as Empire Rose Stakes) (Gr 1, 1600m) winning filly I Am A Star.<\/p>\n<p>The Amarina Farm-consigned filly is a half-sister to champion South African two-year-old, Group One winner Harry\u2019s Son (Rock Of Gibraltar). Her second dam, winning mare Lady Brackley (Rubiton), is a sister to former champion South African two-year-old filly and Group One winning sprinter Ruby Clipper (Rubiton), also the dam of South African Group One winner Seventh Rock (Rock Of Gibraltar).<\/p>\n<p>Catalogued as Lot 280, the filly is the seventh living foal out of city winning Anabaa (Danzig) mare Dash On Ruby.
