Inglis graduate to step out at Flemington

A rejuvenated Overstep (Exceed And Excel x Elusive Desire) will be out to continue her strong recent form in Saturday’s A R Creswick Stakes (Listed, 1200m) at Flemington.

The stakes-placed Chris Waller trained three-year-old is a $400,000 graduate from Amarina Farm’s 2015 Inglis Easter draft.

The filly has raced exclusively in Melbourne this campaign, and has won two of her past three starts, both down the Flemington straight course.

With regular jockey Craig Newitt in the saddle, Overstep will take on the Darren Weir-trained Ken’s Dream (Dream Ahead) and the Robbie Griffiths-trained stablemates Fast Stryke (Stryker) and Hay Bale (Canford Cliffs) in the field of 12 runners.
